Donny Pangilinan graduates college

Donny Pangilinan announced on Sunday, October 9, that he, together with his sisters Hannah and Ella, had successfully completed the requirements necessary to earn their diplomas from the College for Global Deployment.

When asked to reflect on their path to this point, the actor said that the three siblings made the decision to finish their degrees more than two years ago, at the time that the COVID-19 pandemic was in full swing.

“Despite the busy schedules, many sleepless nights (and fights), we were able to have a joint graduation ceremony thanks to the visit of our professor, who is here in Manila for a couple of days,” he wrote in the letter. “We were able to have a joint graduation ceremony thanks to the visit of our professor, who is here in Manila for a couple of days.”

In addition, he expressed gratitude to his parents, Anthony Pangilinan and actress Maricel Laxa, for constantly nagging him to finish his assignments and hand in his papers.

Both Maricel and Anthony shared their happiness on their own Instagram profiles following the accomplishments of their children, with Anthony revealing that Maricel became emotional during the award ceremony.
