Elias Theodorou, a former fighter for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), passed away at the age of 34. According to reports in the media, the Canadian had been battling stage 4 liver cancer.
Theodorou, who passed away on Sunday, September 11, had competed in 22 mixed martial arts bouts, including 11 (8-3 record) in the middleweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
2011 was the year he made his debut in the professional arena, and in 2014, he won the title of “The Ultimate Fighter” to earn a deal with the UFC.
Up until 2019, Theodorou competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
His final professional fight, which took place in Colorado in December 2021, was a victory against Bryan Baker.
