JAY B of GOT7 and PURE.D have confirmed their split

After more than two years together as a couple, GOT7 member JAY B and special effects artist PURE.D have decided to end their relationship.

The breakup was confirmed by JAY B’s agency, CDNZA Records, according to a report from Soompi. The agency stated that the two “naturally grew apart” while “focused on their respective work,” and that they have agreed to remain “good colleagues.”

Late in the year 2020, the K-pop artist and the YouTuber began a relationship, although they did not publicly acknowledge it until July 2022. They were acquainted after being put in touch with one another by a third party who shared common connections with both parties.

JAY B and PURE.D have been dating since the latter half of the year 2020, and they announced their romance in July of last year.

JAY B is the head of the GOT7 boy group, which is a K-pop boy group. In 2021, when their contracts with JYP Entertainment came to an end, he and the other members of GOT7 split ways with the company, although they were able to preserve the group’s name. He made his debut as a solo artist in 2021 under the record label H1GHR MUSIC, which was formed by the Korean hip-hop musician Jay Park. However, in July of last year, he left the company to sign with CDNZA Records.

PURE.D is a special effects makeup artist who now has more than 489,000 subscribers on YouTube.
