Malaysia Esports Federation urges FAM to pick players for FO4 through qualifiers

Malaysia – Kelvin Pang Ching Kuen, Malaysia’s national esports manager for the Hanoi SEA Games, has urged the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) to announce the four players who qualified for the Fifa Online 4 (FO4) electronic game at the biannual Games in May.

He said that the four players recommended by the Malaysia Esports Federation (MESF) had the ability to win gold for Malaysia, in addition to having a strong track record in past competitions.

“We’ve chosen four players, three regulars and one reserve, but it’s recognized that the FO4 game is subject to FAM’s quota, so player selection for the FO4 is up to them.”

“The names that should be considered to represent the country in the event are Muhammad Faiz Hariry Mohamad Fodzai, Gan Mun Kiat, Wan Muhammad Hakimm Wan Narizan, and Muhammad Asyraf Kamal,” he stated.
