PM Muhyiddin urged Malaysians  to stay home in line with the Movement Control Order to curb Covid-19 or restrictions will be extended if its objectives are not met or the crisis worsen.

“I urge you, please stay where you are. Just for two weeks. Because we want to break the chain of infection.. If we are not successful, the government may have to extend the Movement Control Order.”

“It is important for us to isolate ourselves and our families from being exposed to the virus”

Last Monday, the prime minister issued the Movement Control Order to to prevent further spread of COVID-19. Malaysians are not allowed to travel overseas and no visitors will be allowed to enter the country in the 2 weeks period. Schools and other non-essential businesses will also be closed.
