MyKad Fees 2026 and Replacement Rules
The MyKad replacement fee depends on the reason for replacement.
If you are replacing for Malaysian citizens, JPN charges a RM10 application fee. If an 18- to 25-year-old citizen is completing the necessary identity-card replacement, the same amount (RM10) will apply.
Lost MyKad Fees
If your MyKad is lost, the cost increases according to the number of previous losses:

The existing MyKad will not need to be replaced just because there is a new generation of MyKad, MyKad Generasi Baharu, as long as the card is still in good condition, says No. JPN.
