New local phone brand competes with Oppo and Vivo

The local smartphone manufacturer narzo just opened its 50th store on November 19 in Las Pias. During the ribbon-cutting event held on the third floor of SM Southmall, the four-month-old company welcomed new consumers from the South with activities, prizes, and freebies to recognize its offline milestone success.

Notably, the inauguration of the 50th store coincides with the launch of “Quality Sulit Holidays,” narzo’s first Christmas marketing as an independent brand. Mr. Alex Fong, the CEO of Aerophone Enterprises & Co., was there, along with Mr. Johnson Cheng and Ms. Joanne Idorot from the narzo sales and retail team.

“We are thrilled to welcome Aerophone to our expanding dealer network in the Philippines. narzo’s quick commercial success as a young brand in the local smartphone market is made possible by the great support we receive from both our partners and fans,” according to narzo retail director Ms. Joanne Idorot.

“As part of our retail plan, we intend to open additional narzo outlets in each of the country’s 17 regions, with a particular focus on provinces in Visayas and Mindanao.” She continued, “We aim to be one of the first upstart companies to reach out to rural regions and provide them the quality sulit advantage of Narzo.”

On the same day, SM Mall of Asia hosted the first successful leg of narzo’s ChristMASAYA Caravan, where walk-in consumers enjoyed an engaging program with Minute-to-Win-It tasks. Participants were awarded limited-edition narzo jerseys, finger sleeves for mobile gaming, and a P1,000 refund for the record-holder. Every Saturday from now until December 17, 25 participating narzo businesses will host successive legs of the ChristMASAYA Caravan.

In addition to its 50 dedicated locations, narzo Philippines has 149 approved dealers and more than 1,000 multibrand outlets countrywide. Currently, IDC analysis firm recognizes narzo as one of the fastest-growing smartphone brands in the budget market. For as little as P4,499, customers may enjoy the game-changing capabilities of a narzo smartphone.
