The Democratic Party hopes that the National Mandate Party (PAN) can support the formation of the Jiwasraya Special Committee. Although the statement of PAN’s elected Chairman Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) is related to PAN’s political stance which tends to be gray.

Secretary of the Democratic Faction Treasurer Irwan said, even if PAN later decided to enter the government ranks, the Democrat did not question it because it was PAN’s political rights.

“In my opinion, the statement was merely a political message from him (Zulhas). Because de facto all this time PAN is indeed an opposition,” Irwan said, on Friday (14/2).

“Even if PAN enters the coalition then I think it’s PAN’s political right to determine,” added that Chair of the Democratic Party’s ESDM Department.
