PETALING JAYA – Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman’s Parliament session ended early today after he was called in by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
According to Saddiq on his Facebook post, he was heading to the MACC headquarters to provide his statement. The reason why he was being summoned might be related to his declaration of assets.
He said that he had to leave the Parliament session to as he was asked by the MACC to assist in their investigations.
Saddiq claimed that his entire family have always declared their assets in order to provide transparency and he will be more than happy to give full coordination to MACC. The Muar MP said that he is confident because he has always told the truth and that the meeting with MACC will go well.
