Trending : 7 Months Pregnant Woman Shot Dead In Car

Malaysia – A pregnant woman was shot dead in her car yesterday at Kampung Repek in Pasir Mas. A police interview with the victim’s mother revealed that the woman was seven months pregnant.

Kelantan acting police chief Datuk Muhamad Zaki Harun said they received a report from the public around 4pm and immediately deployed a police party to the scene.

According to New Straits Times, the woman’s body was found in the driver’s seat of a Nissan Cefiro with a gunshot wound to her left abdomen. The victim’s body was sent to Pasir Mas Hospital for a post-mortem

The Vibes reported that the police also found a bullet shell behind the driver’s seat in the rear legroom area.

The car, which was registered under the victim’s name, was found abandoned by the roadside since Friday evening.

Police have detained a 40-year-old suspect, a labourer known to the 26-year-old victim, at around 11.25pm in Pasir Mas to assist in investigations.

The case is investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
