Kaohsiung, Taiwan
With the flight time being relatively short, and an accessible transportation system, Kaohsiung is among the easiest overseas destinations for Filipino travellers.
The entry route into Taiwan for the Philippines was very easy and visa-free travel lasts for up to 14 days. All travelers must have at least six months past their travel dates on their passport and should arrange for changes and return tickets. It is also beneficial to fill in the Taiwan online arrival card before your trip, which may facilitate the immigration process.
After arriving in town, it’s easy to reach Kaohsiung National Stadium. World Games Station (R17) is only a few steps away from the venue and is served by the Red Line of the Kaohsiung MRT. You can enjoy convenient access during your trip through MRT stations like Zuoying, Formosa Boulevard or Kaohsiung Main Station.
Bangkok, Thailand
The city of Bangkok still ranks as one of the must-visit destinations for Filipino concert-goers for its low cost of living, excellent food scene and visa-free policy for ASEAN nationals.
With proper immigration criteria, Filipinos holding a passport can enter Thailand freely. They should possess a valid passport and have confirmation of quarantines, hotel reservations, and return flight, as well as a necessary arriving/departing declaration in digital format before traveling.
There are daily direct flights from Clark and Manila to both Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports.There are many choices of flight times between both the Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports and Manila.
The concert venue, Rajamangala National Stadium, is not on the BTS or MRT system. There are accommodations encouraging visitors to take the Airport Rail Link to Ramkhamhaeng Station before boarding taxis, motorcycle taxis or canal boats.
Staying near Ramkhameng or on the Airport Rail Line (ART) will cut travel hassle during the concert days.
Singapore
The good transport facilities coupled with the modern venues make Singapore one of the premier hotspots for international concerts in Asia.
Filipinos are not required for visas if travelling to Singapore for a period of 30 days but have to complete the Singapore Arrival Card online within three days prior to arrival. Be sure to have a hotel reservation and return ticket available, as well.
Singapore is one of the easiest destinations overseas to attend concerts, as multiple airlines run direct flights from Manila, Cebu and Clark. Stadium MRT Station (CC6) on the Circle Line is directly connected to the Singapore National Stadium.
