Malaysians returning from Singapore via land must apply entry permit starting April 27

KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysians in Singapore who wish to return to Malaysia by land are required to obtain an entry permit from the High Commission of Malaysia starting April 27.

According to High Commission of Malaysia’s official Facebook page, the applicants need to apply for permit two days before departure. They need to email their personal information such as name, both identity card and passport numbers, departure date to email – [email protected]

Printed or phone screenshot reply via email which includes a unique reference number must be present upon arrival at the Malaysia Immigration Checkpoint in Johor Bahru.
