Last updated on May 11th, 2021 at 09:14 am

The Philippine Airlines (PAL) declared on Tuesday the cancelation of all its domestic flights under the enhanced community quarantine now being imposed on the entire island of Luzon by the government.

The company stated that in compliance with the Enhanced Community Quarantine measure taken by the Philippine Government over the Luzon Region, including Metro Manila, ALL DOMESTIC FLIGHTS of Philippine Airlines shall be CANCELLED effective immediately until 12 April 2020.

It said in a bid to curb the spread of the 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic it would comply with the travel restrictions imposed by the government during the enhanced group quarantine over Luzon.

The quarantine ends on 12 April.

Notwithstanding this cancelation of flights, PAL said its Manila Airport Ticket Office would remain open from 2 a.m. at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2. Around 10 p.m. Everyday. All other PAL ticket offices in Metro Manila will also be closed to comply with the order for the quarantine.

Anyone with questions about travel and ticketing can call the PAL hotline at (63 2) 88558888.

Philippine Airlines respectfully request that people will consider postponing any reservation requests until 12 April 2020, given the strict social distance imposed by the quarantine measures; they anticipate a high volume of inquiries and transactions at both the Ticket Office and the Hotline, and they ask people to bear with them as they face the challenge of handling an unprecedented number of cancelled flights.
