“The Uncanny Counter” season 2 is set to return to Netflix. The streaming platform has finally released a five-minute-long trailer for the upcoming K-drama.
The Uncanny Counter 2 will include new faces joining the battle between demon hunters and evil demons. The trailer shows various intriguing storylines. It is scheduled to premiere on July 29.
The Uncanny Counter is a South Korean television series about evil spirits and demon hunters. Demons seek immortality by preying on innocent lives, while demon hunters catch evil spirits.
Season 2 of the Uncanny Counter will continue the story about demon hunters and evil spirits. The second season of the show will now be broadcast on tvN and Netflix.
Jo Byeong-gyu, Yoo Joon-sang, Ahn Suk-hwan, Kim Se-jeong, and Yeom Hye-ran are part of the new season of the K-drama. The trailer shows them fighting against the malevolent demons.
New actors Jin Sun-kyu, Kang Ki-young, Kim Hieora, and Yoo In-soo, have also joined the new season. They will bring a captivating twist to the storyline.
The demon hunters pledged to save people and form close bonds with new people. So-mun, played by Jo Byeong-gyu, will form a bond with Maa Joo-seok, played by Jin Sun-kyu.
The trailer also portrayed the antagonist characters of Kang Ki-young and Kim Hieora. Maa Joo-seok transforms into an evil spirit to seek revenge from evil demons.
In the first season of the K-drama, demon hunters posed as workers in a shop to catch evil spirits, who prey on innocent people to find eternal life. They each have their own special abilities to catch evil spirits.
Season 1 was released on 28 November 2020. The series continued until 24 January 2021. It was directed by Yoo Seon-dong and Park Bong-seop. It was based on webcomic “Kyeongirowoon Somoon” written by famous writer Jang Yi.
