Jisoo’s already impressive resume just got even longer! A member of the girl group Blackpink just took home a prize at the 17th Seoul International Drama Awards for her performance in the critically acclaimed Korean television drama Snowdrop.

She defeated Lee Seyoung, who had been nominated for her performance in The Red Sleeve Cuff, and Son Yejin, who had been nominated for her role in Thirty-Nine, by a narrow margin to win the award for “Outstanding Performance of Korean Drama of the Year – Actress” or simply the “Outstanding Korean Actress.”

For the benefit of those who aren’t already aware, the Seoul International Drama Awards, also abbreviated as SDA and held annually in Seoul, South Korea, is a ceremony that recognizes outstanding achievement in the field of television drama productions globally. The 17th annual ceremony is scheduled to take place on the 22nd of this month and will be broadcast live on KBS 2TV as well as the official YouTube account for the Seoul International Drama Awards.
