According to a TikTok creator who purportedly works as a host at a New York City restaurant frequented by celebrities, the creator’s buddy, who apparently also works as a host at the same restaurant, walked Gomez and Malik to their table and watched them holding hands and kissing. The TikTok founder revealed purported screenshots of her friend’s texts depicting the alleged hand-holding and outing between Gomez and Malik.

In her now-viral video, the creator conducted her own research and determined that Gomez is one of just 18 individuals Malik follows on Instagram, while Malik is one of Gomez’s 250 followers. “This crap is about to be released,” the designer ends with chuckles.

Even Deux Moi has doubts about the rumored connection, stating in an Instagram story that she hasn’t independently confirmed the Gomez and Malik tale and that “normally when she’s out in New York, someone writes in saying they saw her, and I always assumed Zayn remained in Pennsylvania.”

The fact that fans have been shipping a Zelena romance since long before this creator’s TikTok became popular is another reason to potentially take this narrative with a large grain of salt.
